Henry cut his musical teeth at the age of 13 in his hometown of New Glasgow, NS. He played guitar and sang covers of the Beatles and Stones in the Clansmen, complete with tartan vests and kilts. In 1968, at the age of 16, he joined the Nite Cult,switched to bass guitar, and spent the weekends and summers playing dances on the mainland, Cape Breton, and PEI. After university, he joined two of his Nite Cult buddies in Alberta and toured the western provinces for a couple of years returning to NS and forming Granfalloon in the early 80’s.

In 1990, Henry and three of his former bandmates from Northend New Glasgow formed Deja Vu,  and played sold out shows for the next 20 years. Today, after four hand operations, he has retired his bass guitar and is a singer with Sounds of Motown.
